Welcome to Girls on the Run Greater Houston. Our Fall 2015 Season starts the week of September 14 and culminates on Race Day on December 5, 2015Girls on the Run is a transformational physical activity based positive youth development program for girls in 3rd-8th grade. We teach life skills through dynamic interactive lessons and running games. The program culminates with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5k running event. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness.
Please fill out this application if you would like to bring Girls on the Run to your school/area: Fall 2015 Site Applications due July 15. We are accepting applications for Fall 2015. If you have a confirmed site you will be coaching at (i.e. your school, church, Rec Center, ect. and site application has been filled out) please fill out this registration form. ANYONE who will be working at your site MUST fill out this Coach Application AND attend New Coaches Training, August 15, 2015 Don Colman Coliseum Dairy Ashford from 9-2 PM. Coach applications for Fall 2015 are DUE August 1, 2015.
